Jay Varcoe

Jay has consulted with entrepreneurs about their small businesses tax, accounting, and management issues for over 30 years.  After working for two high profile regional Certified Public Accounting firms, he founded and ran his own CPA firm for 20 years.  He earned his bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University and his MBA from Arizona State University.

Before joining Vestpointe Wealth Management in 2026, Jay was an entrepreneur coach and operated his own entrepreneurial venture.  He has also taught numerous accounting classes at Grand Canyon University and Arizona State University. 

Jay lives in Scottsdale with his wife, Robyn who is a criminal defense attorney and their chocolate lab, Cocoa Chanel.  He enjoys travel, hiking, and soccer.
